Our very popular weekend tour away including: return airfares from Melbourne, 2 x nights deluxe accomodation in Launceston, breakfasts, Dinners  (Fri/Sat), all wine tastings, transfers/cheese platters, touring visiting 2 magnificent wine regions visiting up to 7-8 superb wineries over 2 days.  Explore and enjoy wine tastings in The Tamar Valley and North East coast of Tasmania of Freycinet Wineries with a few special surprises for you to enjoy that we'll keep secret along the way!  A weekend away we're sure you will enjoy and take the time to relax in a beautiful part of Tasmania. Day 1

• Board your early morning flght from Melbourne to Launceston

• After arriving and picking up our luggage and bus we will travel down to the Tamar Valley and scenic Tamar River within an hour drive from Launceston for our first day of sampling these magnificent wineries and enjoying their friendly hospitality.

• Lunch at own expense.

• Visit 3 outstanding wineries for tastings

• After the winery tour of the Tamar we will head back to "Launny" and check in at around 5pm at our accommodation.

• 7pm Dinner (included)

• After dinner your time to relax at your leisure

Day 2

• After a wholesome breakfast (included) we head off around 9.30am for a leisurely 1.5hour drive down to the east coast of Tasmania to the spectacular Freycinet Peninsula which are home to some of finest wineries on the island. The scenery you will witness on this side of the coast is some of the finest in the state.

• We will be introducing you to some more of Tassies finest cellar doors and sampling delicious wines from this region such as: Devil's Corner and Freycinet Vineyard and Spring Vale Vineyards

• Lunch at own expense at Devil's Corner winery. Your have the choice of ‘The Fishers’ which serves up freshly shucked oysters and seafood so fresh straight from the Freycinet Marine Farm. Tombolo Café dish up pizza straight from the wood-fired oven, with espresso coffee and gelato a specialty.

• After tasting some magnificent wines at these wineries we head back to Launceston in time for drinks before dinner.

Day 3 

• After once again enjoying your breakfast (included) we check out of our accommodation and enjoy a leisurely cruise up the Tamar River and Gorge.

• Lunch in historical Evandale (at own expense).

 After enjoying a hearty lunch we head back to Launceston airport for our flight back to Melbourne.
